About the event

Catriceology® Enterprises, LLC one-day 5th annual Follow Black Women Conference conference is for every woman passionate about and committed to racial justice, racial equity, and women's empowerment, especially for Black women. All women are invited to join us for a powerful, eye-opening, take-action conference in Omaha, NE on Friday October 13, 2023. This conference is for women leaders, entrepreneurs, career women, business owners, and social and racial justice activists. This is a one-of-a-kind experience where Black women are seen, heard, valued, prioritized and centered unapologetically. Come experience it for yourself!

THIS IS A PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT MOMENT: Ask your employer to support your growth by paying for this conference.

The theme is OWN YOUR THRONE: Create A Life Fit For A Queen. The Cosplay Edition. What does it mean to be a Queen and to Own Your Throne? We invite you to come dressed in your most fabulous version of what it means to be a Queen to you. We invite you to go all out with gowns, capes, crowns and jewels! Your majesty, we invite you into our Queendom! Show up and show out (there will be a prize for the best dressed Queen).

This conference is hosted by a Black woman, especially for Black women and features dynamic speakers who are Black women. Four phenomenal women will grace us with their brilliance and Black Girl Magic to create a meaningful moment in which participants learn how to step up and lead, support Black women and get out of the way so black women can lead the revolution of racial justice and women’s equity. This year our conversations will empower women to not settle for crumbs, to live out their wildest dreams, to create financial richness and to design their queendom from the inside out and own it.

This one-day conference for women will showcase brilliant Black women leaders, teachers, activists and healers doing powerful, transformative work in the world to rigorously advocate for truth, justice, freedom, equity and liberation for Black and brown people. Specifically, this conference will focus on highlighting the brilliance, resilience and vision for Black women leading the way to racial justice reconciliation and restoration.

  • This conference will be relevant, real and raw.
  • This conference is for those who are ready to advance the women's movement by listening to and following the brilliant and unapologetic wisdom and leadership of Black women.
  • This conference is for Black women who are ready to lead their own personal and social revolution.
  • This conference is for ALL women who are ready to create space for Black women to lead and to be the wind beneath their wings.

Topics and sessions will emphasize the following topics: personal anti-racism work, dismantling systemic white terrorism and anti-black racism, psychosocial disparities among Black women, effective activist/accomplice actions, community healing and personal restoration for Black women, Black mental wellness, Black joy as a revolution and personal and professional development.

Non-Black participants will learn how to bear witness to the challenges Black women face and how to cultivate space for Black women to heal, practice self-love and experience joy without causing harm.

Although this conference will prioritize, center and amplify the needs, wants and challenges of Black women, ALL women who are interested in and dedicated to racial justice and equity are highly encouraged to attend.
